A lot of the DVDs quote the advertising blurbs either from Universal or the back covers. It's not really unacceptable, but maybe a bit un-encyclopedic. Moreover, it doesn't really add any useful information. Maybe we should instead write a sentence on what it contains, and maybe a short enumeration of the extras contained (or not). -- Serenity 14:09, 30 January 2008 (CST)
- Agreed. Would we use some of the text from the summaries on the related articles, or just write something totally new?-- OrionFour 17:09, 30 January 2008 (CST)
- I was thinking more something like "This set contains all 20 episodes of Season 3, as well as audio commentaries, blah blah". That doesn't have to include everything, but just the major extras or features. Story summaries would be possibly, but those can be found on the season pages already and there is a link to them for every DVD set. -- Serenity 17:21, 30 January 2008 (CST)
- Alright sounds good, let's get started.-- OrionFour 15:04, 31 January 2008 (CST)

Uniformization?
Actually, as an owner of all Galactica R2 DVDs (except the box sets), I often wonder what is different from the R1 DVDs. I would like that all DVD articles be uniformed like the following: Disc #, followed by contents of that disk, Disk #+1, etc. etc.
Hopefully we would even have the time duration of each content (to distinguish extra contents on episodes between R1 and R2).-- Jcnventura 04:09, 31 January 2008 (CST)
- That information is listed on the individual DVD pages, although for the whole set. This is just an overview article. Personally I don't find list sorted by discs that useful. For me it's enough to know what's on the entire set. -- Serenity 04:27, 31 January 2008 (CST)
S4 DVD set out
I just stumbled across this on Amazon.co.uk. Apparently it contains at least "Razor" and deleted scenes. But I seriously doubt it's the same set that will be released in the US, which has some more things announced. Running times are different too, though that doesn't necessarily say much. -- Serenity 16:16, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
