What is a Cylon? It depends on how and from what series you view it. To our left we have our typical "Toaster" Cylon Centurion from the orginal Battlestar Galactica. To our right we have the new and improved Cylon that takes the foorm of a human being. True one might look intimidating with its chrome armor and red eye, but on the other hand, Number Five, as this model is called, doesn't seem too fearsome. Cylons were created by man. The Cylons didn't like serving their masters, so they revolted. Their conflict with humans lasted for years. Then they disappeared and then one day reappeared in a devastating sneak attack, to do battle once more. When being refered to by a Colonial character, a Cylon is, as often as not, called "it" or "thing" because Cylons are not considered alive, though this belief may not be entirely accurate. Because Cylons can take any human shape now, everyone has become a suspect and being disqualfied as one is extremely tough.
