Abstain When to use Neutral and Abstain:

  • {{neutral}} is a vote, which declares no opinion on the matter.
  • {{abstain}} is not a vote. It is automatically used for admins on Leave of Absence, and can also be used to recuse oneself from votes in which they are an interested party (such as RFCs concerning administrators).
