:::As a loyal viewer, I hated it. The out-of-orderness was horrible and the general lack of a lot of scenes made it hard to proverbially digest. However, I can see no problem with it attracting new viewers. It still had the pure kicking-so-many-different-kinds-of-asses-on-so-many-different-levels aura that anything RDM has. --[[User:Kevin W.|Kevin W.]] 01:36, 19 August 2006 (CDT) | :::As a loyal viewer, I hated it. Though I watched the miniseries, I missed the original airdates of BSG. I was convinced to watch them, and I did, in the Spring of 2006. What a series! This 'recap' was terrible. It lacked so much depth, so many nuances. Nothing of the military vs. civilian power of Adam and the President. Nothing of the vote-rigging! Nothing of Tie's alcoholism. Pegasis anyone? Anyone!? No explosions, no terrorism, no nukes or betrayals? Nothing of the sordid Pegasis rape-torture-maim of the Cylon? So little of Apollo's death-wish that it would go unnoticed. Starbuck's passing of the torch is gone. The awe-inspiring struggle in the first few episodes, gone! Yes, what they could do in a very short program about 40-odd hours of amazing television was limited. But did they have to emphasize only the very light, very standard, sci-fi fare? The darkness and ambiguity of the series was completely lost, imho. This short was a terrible disservice to an amazing series. I'd expect this from poorly made U-tube crapola, not of the BSG team. | |||

Review
If you are an avid fan, this show will drive you up the wall. Shots out sequences, incorrect narration trying to help the new viewer understand will have you shaking your head going "NO.. NO!" ;-) --FrankieG 20:55, 14 August 2006 (CDT)
- Not so much a problem, even for an avid fan. As long as you took into consideration this is a recap for a new audience, it's farely well done. It misses a few things that I believe were more key than others. Such as recapping A LOT of Downloaded where it could have easily had a 15 second short piece and move on to how it connects to the end. Should have takn more focus on the military coup, and near all-out war with Pegasus. The miniseries can literally be explained visually and narrated in 2 minutes! Not until the first commercial break. In all reality, this is something for new fans or people that haven't seen the entire show to get into watching the third season. --AJFederation 13:59, 17 August 2006 (CDT)
- I do think that it was put together well for a new viewer, and it was a montumental task that was not easy. --FrankieG 14:05, 17 August 2006 (CDT)
