The details of your proposal will go here. Be as detailed as you'd like or believe necessary. It is recommended that you find that balance between ''downloading'' information and merely ''telling'' what your idea is.
We do a lot of "citeing" outside sources and I think we need to have a standard in the format in which they appear. Since I been doing lots of citing on Wikipedia, they use special templates that keep everything intact and properly formated in MLA or what ever style the author would like to use. I am suggestion that we adopt some of the templates from [[Wikipedia:Category:Citation templates|Category:Citation templates]] and use them here. Now I am not suggestion all of them but these are a few I think we should consider.

The proposal should strive to answer some of the common questions, such as:
* [[Wikipedia:Template:Cite book|Template:Cite book]]
* [[Wikipedia:Template:Cite email|Template:Cite email]]
* [[Wikipedia:Template:Cite episode|Template:Cite episode]]
* [[Wikipedia:Template:Cite news|Template:Cite news]]
* [[Wikipedia:Template:Cite online journal|Template:Cite online journal]]
* [[Wikipedia:Template:Cite podcast|Template:Cite podcast]] (Modified to work with our [[BW:POD]] project of course.
* [[Wikipedia:Template:Cite press release|Template:Cite press release]]
* [[Wikipedia:Template:Cite video game|Template:Cite video game]]
* [[Wikipedia:Template:Cite visual|Template:Cite visual]]
* [[Wikipedia:Template:Cite web|Template:Cite web]] (The big one)

# What is the benefit of this proposal to the wiki?
We would have to go through all the pages and just update the <nowiki><ref></nowiki> tags with the template inside of it. We would go through the pages as we have time. There are a lot of page and this really is just to standard the citing so it's no big priority, but it should be done if we were ever going to "publish" this site on a CD.
# What is involved in implementing this idea?
# Who is going to do it?
# Why should we do it at all?
# How will we use the idea?
# Should the proposal pass, when will work start on this idea?
# Where will this idea be implemented? (e.g. Will it be on certain types of pages or the entire Wiki in general?)

Do note that the answers to the above questions should be in paragraph form, particularly for proposals of a larger scale.

This is the overview. Basically, a summary of what the idea is about. You can get into the details later on.

Cite Templates

We do a lot of "citeing" outside sources and I think we need to have a standard in the format in which they appear. Since I been doing lots of citing on Wikipedia, they use special templates that keep everything intact and properly formated in MLA or what ever style the author would like to use. I am suggestion that we adopt some of the templates from Category:Citation templates and use them here. Now I am not suggestion all of them but these are a few I think we should consider.

We would have to go through all the pages and just update the <ref> tags with the template inside of it. We would go through the pages as we have time. There are a lot of page and this really is just to standard the citing so it's no big priority, but it should be done if we were ever going to "publish" this site on a CD.
