Barry Nerling was born in Vernon,B.C. before moving to Vancouver to pursue acting full time. During his time in Vancouver, Barry has been on many of the popular Sci-Fi T.V. series filmed in Vancouver including acting and stunt credits on Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Eureka and Tinman. Barry first appeared on Battlestar in season one episode 3 as a prisoner recruited to help the fleet find water in exchange for time of his sentence.
