Wedge shaped vessel
We are aware that the ship is based on a fan design that has some history about it. But none of that appears on screen in the show, and so we go with what the series itself established. Which is basically nothing. If the writers ever elaborate on the ship (which is unlikely), they could just come up with something entirely different. The fan-made story is mentioned in the Notes section, but we take care to separate canon from fan-fiction.
