Marshall Bagott is a politician from Virgon, selected to represent that planet on the Quorum of Twelve (Colonial Day). He appears to be one of the most vocal and influential voices in the Quorum.
Following assistance given by Tom Zarek in getting the air filtration system aboard his ship repaired, Bagott nominated Zarek for the post of Vice President.
He is an officious-sounding individual, and his support for Zarek did not surprise Wallace Gray, Roslin's policy-maker and original vice-presidential candidate.
