:Yeah, this doesn't warrant an own article. But I'd go so far to say that it's not worth noting that the Cylons just happen to have a similarity to one, or the, first scifi story to feature killer robots. Of course they do. Yeah, this doesn't warrant an own article. But I'd go so far to say that it's not worth noting that the Cylons just happen to have a similarity to one, or the, first scifi story to feature killer robots. Of course they do. Everything has been doe before one shape or another. A real, confirmed inspiration for the human Cylons is Blade Runner though, which is also based on a story by Phillip K.
