Born in the Yukon, Tahmoh Penikett is the son of former Yukon premier Tony Penikett, a member of the New Democrat Party of Canada.
He has only recently entered the world of acting, but has wracked up an impressive list of guest appearances in genre shows such as Dark Angel, Stargate SG-1 and Smallville, as well as a lead role in the police procedural drama Cold Case.
