Battlestar Wiki:Think Tank/DVD Project

This is an archive successful proposal that was vetted through the Think Tank, a place where ideas of all kinds are proposed and worked upon by the community prior to implementation. Please do not modify this proposal.

This would be a project to clean up and expand the DVD pages on the wiki. Currently the list of DVDs are as follows:

• Battlestar Galactica - The Movie DVD
• Miniseries DVD
• Season 1 DVD
• Season 2 DVD
• Season 2.0 DVD
• Season 2.5 DVD

Part 1: I feel that the way we have them at the moment is confusing putting different products into the same articles. I feel that they need to have individual pages for each region as they are all slightly different. For this to happen I think that a new naming scheme is put into place with the current pages acting as disambiguations (or redirects in the 2.0 and 2.5 cases) to the new ones. Here are a couple of examples, feel free to comment and make up your own:

• Season X (Region Y DVD)
• Season X DVD (Region Y)
• Battlestar Galactica Season X DVD (Region Y)
• Battlestar Galactica Season X (Region Y DVD)

Part 2: We are also lacking DVD entries for many of the other versions out there. I recently made a stub for the "Movie" DVD which i belive was only released in the UK. I have yet to put on the two box sets that I know of in the UK and i'm sure there are many different kinds of DVD available in the US that I dont know of. --Mercifull ^{(Talk/Contribs)} 07:58, 15 September 2006 (CDT)
