We did not get Robotech in the UK I discovered Macross through Science Fictions conventions which led me to becomming for a while at least, something of an otaku (Japanese Anime fan). Babylon 5 was another one that was family viewing (though with much sadness, for only 2 generations). | ||
I'm involved with computers, have trained as a mechanic, have a BA Degree (Major history/Minor Psychology) and I have an interest in film so have studied film critism a small amount. I hope to be able to contribute in some way to the team even if it is small. | I'm involved with computers, have trained as a mechanic, have a BA Degree (Major history/Minor Psychology) and I have an interest in film so have studied film critism a small amount. Hi, a brief intro to the 'Cylon Turncoat'
az 30-several Anglo-Australian, Born in Australia and grew up in the UK
3rd generation Science fiction fan. Grew up on the classics of Azimov, Wyndham, Foyles Jnr and Snr and of course A C Clarke. However just at home with a trashy low budget space opera flick as I am with the 'high brow' stuff.
Fan of the Original Battlestar series when it first came out here (UK) in the cinemas, when it was on the TV, it was a family show with 3 generations of us on (or sometimes behind) the sofa
Enjoying the new series as well, see them as simply diferent versions (view points) of the same core story line.
