:Is it explicitly stated that Galactica only had a single squadron of Vipers still on duty? We see a full squadron destroyed in the first sortie of the miniseries, after which Galactica apparently can still field two squadrons of mixed Mk. II and Mk. VII fighters in the last combat sequence. This would make a certain amount of sense - presumably a normal battlestar has four squadrons, two in each flight pod. With the starboard pod hosting a museum, there would have been two Mk. VII squadrons in the port flight pod. --[[User:Peter Farago|Peter Farago]] 20:19, 19 September 2005 (EDT) |

Notes
I referred to the TOS Viper in the museum as a Mk. I. This is only because I couldn't think of anything else to call it and it fit perfectly. You can see it on the left in the contrast-adjusted picture here --Talos 20:04, 19 September 2005 (EDT)
