According to this discussion thread, there was only one off-hand reference to "Jupiter class" in the entire book. Since the book is a licensed product and one of the co-writers was science advisor Kevin Grazer, the name deserves some recognition, but "quasi-canonical" like the Battlestar Galactica Map of the 12 Colonies, which was also co-written by Grazer. Beyond canon status, the name "Jupiter class" is so rare that it's doubtful anyone would type it in while looking for information about that type of ship, so a redirect really isn't necessary. The note near the bottom of the article should be sufficient. -- BlueResistance 19:22, 26 October 2014 (EDT) |
