This project represents an effort to standardize the episode guides, providing a more uniform experience at Battlestar Wiki. The first phase of this project will involve identifying and documenting a "standard" episode. The second phase of this project will be bringing all the other episode guides in line with the standard.
Episode Guide Archetype
An episode guide article should be selected as an archetype, a model that we can compare other episode guides and try to match. Once we have identified our model article, we should go through all episode guides and identify which ones deviate from the model (and in what specific areas they deviate). This will form a working list (to reside here) that contributors can work through and check off as we complete them. Once we have completed that working list, the scope of this project will be completed (and emphasis will instead focus on enforcing the S&C on new articles as they are created.
Please propose and discuss archetype candidates on the talk page of this project.
S&C refinement
After we have selected our model article, we should refine it until it is "perfected" according to consensus. We then document the standards and conventions we applied to perfect the article by adding or modifying relevant sections at the Standards & Conventions page. This page might highlight the relevant sections of the S&C that apply to the project, but all standards & convention documentation should reside at that page in order to avoid redundancy.
