[[Wolfman Jack]] is an on-air personality at the station, managed by a director named [[Arnie]].

The music that the station plays includes [[w:Linda Ronstadt|Linda Ronstadt]]'s version of "[[w:That'll Be The Day|That'll Be The Day]]" and [[w:Billy Joel|Billy Joel]]'s "[[w:My Life (Billy Joel song)|My Life]]", in addition to other music of the era.

The radio station, located on the 70th floor of the [[International Trade Center]], is targeted by [[Andromus]] and [[Centuri]], two surviving [[Cylons (1980)|Cylons]] that discover [[Earth (1980)|Earth]] but are forced to crash land [[Interception of the A-B Raider|after impacting with Recon Delta]]. They hope to use the powerful 150,000 watt transmitter to communicate the location of Earth to the [[Cylon Empire]], and thus destroy the last remaining outpost of humanity; they are subsequently thwarted by [[Troy (1980)|Troy]] and [[Dillon]] {{G80|The Night the Cylons Landed, Part II}}.
