==Color Scheme==
Feel free to play with the color scheme. That upper right box is my favorite, and I nabbed it with the "eyedropper" off of MASON's BSG logo in the upper left. I'm not that crazy about the red, or the black, but they were other prominent colors (ripe for the "eyedropping"). I guess ideally it would be set up to look good regardless of the individual user's color scheme preferences. :: Is it your intent to have the four boxes be different colors in the end, or are you just showing some possibilities side by side? I think a unified look would be best... And I wonder if tieing it into the site's CSS for coloring wouldn't be best. That way it can change based on what skin a user is, well, using. -::: That's something I'd like to at least try. I was emulating Wikipedia's [[Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Community Portal|Community Portal]] which has a different (pastel) color for each box. However, I was pondering about tieing into the CSS, but haven't had experience with that. I could ask Joe about it, but I'd be kind of wary to hand out server access to people, were I him. -Bonus points are available for finding a place on here for a featured/quality article. Although we currently only have one (and its the [[Sandbox]] (I was testing the template), it sounds like we might have more in the future. Quality article candidates (as soon as a template for that exists) might be featured as collaborations so they can get the polish needed to become quality articles. -: I noticed that Wikipedia puts up summaries of their top articles that they spotlight on the main page. Does anyone know if those're written by hand or somehow generated by MediaWiki? -:: I believe those are generated by hand, but I don't think that'd be a big deal. I think that there used to be featured articles here(I've run into some old ones in link cleanup efforts).
