| | Excuse me Mr. Thompson, but we've been debating something here for a long time and I'm really hoping you can help us with it: in [[The Hand of God (RDM)|The Hand of God]], while they'e planning out the mission Starbuck says they're jumping in at "extreme (radar) range". Most think she said "radar", which would be a mistake because the Colonials use DRADIS. However, I think she says "''Raider'' range", which would make sense in context. Does it really say "Raider" in the script, and Katee says "raider" she just slurred her pronounciation a little?--[[User:The Merovingian|The Merovingian]] ([[Special:Contributions/The Merovingian|C]] - [[Special:Editcount/The Merovingian|E]]) 21:00, 8 June 2006 (CDT) |

| :::Stuff to start out with: when you edited Racetrack's page you spoke in the first person ("I told the art department") We are by no means some officially licensed "Encyclopedia", we're just fans, but we're trying our hardest to ''fool'' everyone into thinking we are! :) So we try to make everything formalized by writing in the third person: I.e. "Bradley Thompson said..." etc. For example, Trek writer Mike Sussman actually contributes to the Star Trek Wiki: When he was talking about the writer's room backround discussions between himself and Berman on [http://www.memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/E%C2%B2#Background_Information this section], he uses third person. Hmm...oh yeah, and to link things, use double brackets like this: <nowiki> [[Final Cut]] </nowiki>. That's about all you need in short: I didn't know how the frak wiki-code worked when I got here when the show began; it's pretty intuitive. --[[User:The Merovingian|The Merovingian]] ([[Special:Contributions/The Merovingian|C]] - [[Special:Editcount/The Merovingian|E]]) 14:40, 9 June 2006 (CDT)

| Not an official question, but just out of curiosity, how did you first find BattlestarWiki? (That is, when you came to correct us about the spelling of Racetrack's name). Thanks. --[[User:The Merovingian|The Merovingian]] ([[Special:Contributions/The Merovingian|C]] - [[Special:Editcount/The Merovingian|E]]) 11:07, 27 July 2006 (CDT)

| We updated the skin and you might have some viewing problems. You can goto your "preferences" and goto the skin tab and change to. I am suggesting to everyone right now that everyone use the "bsgbook" skin, just because it's the one that is most complete. --[[User:Shane|Shane]] ([[User_Talk:Shane|T]] - [[Special:Contributions/Shane|C]] - [[Special:Editcount/Shane|E]]) 22:20, 21 August 2006 (CDT)

| Bradley, as the series winds down (and, hopefully, as a new series winds up), I wanted to extend a personal thank you on behalf of everyone here on the wiki for taking time out to answer questions and provide insight about the show as only one so closely tied to the series could do. ''Battlestar Galactica'' is and will be noted as one of the best television shows ever produced, and it was a genuine pleasure for all the contributors here to document the excellent storytelling, production, directing and acting that you, Ron, the Davids, and so many more worthy people have appreciated. I hope that you're involved in ''Caprica'' and look forward to more tales of wonder and woe. It'll be weird to not feel depressed on Friday nights now. :) Thanks again and good luck from all of us on Battlestar Wiki. --[[User:Spencerian|Spencerian]] 04:06, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
