Moct's callsign is "Straycat". Callsigns are assigned by Commander Moct, and are usually some sort of a clever play on the existing nickname. Like Steel "Rusty" viper. A different kind of  fandom:

During these very long hiatus i have experienced one of the greates things among any kind of sci fy fandom,The BSG fans,yes,we arent like any other kind of fan,in my personal experience having fun with the FRAKHEADS! i have make lost of new cool friends that discused theyr lifes trought the 3 boards that we are based now, and i said different because i found fun with out being obsesive about talking over and over about the same BSG related issues, we can talk about almost anything and most important we have babes! yes we have very cool ones willing to show theyr beutifull bodyes for a piece of cool BSG fun! isnt that great? damn right it is!and now i found here almost anything very well documented about the show that i love! fraking awsome!
3.0 its arround the corner so the BSG wiki its the place to concour with our doubts and comments so i dont envy you guys,so much work its comming.

When do they left?


These morning i was reading in a Mexican magazine about BSG and SG, and the idiot that wrote the article was comparing these two shows with the Heavy metal second comming,like old stuff its taking over again,and i wonder over what?. Im 39 years old and seriouly i never felt they have ever left,at least not in my life,im a Metal child ,AC/DC,Iron Maiden,Judas priest,Black sabath and so and on and on,but i figure now i been trought a lot during the last 19 years (OMFG!) but i never ever felt a minor change in those years,not even at the 90´s with grundge wich its the most basic form of Metal/punk music, anyway shows like BSG or more recent movies like SG arent old to me at all,during the 90´s i have Manson to makes me company and now all that i want to do its rock as hard as i can!, of course with a more refined style, taking the vices off you know, like a good classic and thats my take on that,the 80´s,the 90´s and now the midle new century first decade its a complilation of classics,my generation had the wonderfull priviledge to lived in two diferent centuries and im feeling just about the same,am i inmature? is these my my almost 40 crisis? last babe i date was 24! i dont fucking think so,i dont know about you,but its great to feel the same during the pass of the years,i look back and said god! it was 20 years ago that i went to buy my firts Judas priest album and recently i went to seen them again!OMFG they still rocking! and fucking Halford its gay and nobody gives a damn! .
BSG its more than outstanding now days and i certaily hoppe that 3.0 will rock,my fucking point is no matter how old you are keep rocking,in your life or in your mind, ask Fucking Keith Richards about it!
I dont know about you but i want to get to be 65 years old or more and keep rocking and watching the re-re-re imagination of BSG or be able to keep enjoing good things in life as long as theyr cool!

Now i dont understand!

One of the most drastic sciffy politics its the usage of cloned handles or to post with two handles,i was banned every time i try to log in with adiferent handle so many people that we know,then why in hell these stupid arrogant Merv person now goes to sciffy and openly announce that hes posting under the handle "V" (very stupid i guess) and also keeps posting as the merov_ignian? why does anybody report him to the ADMINS for doing these and get hes ass banned fro sciffy for good,in all fairness these is wrong ,very wrong,i did the same thing and my ip was traced and banned,i dont care,but since when scciffy its a facist forum who favors the assholes and bann the fun seakers?,i dont know about you but i dont like unfairness.

Im writing you about an issue that deeply disturbs me,the unknown causes of my banning from the scciffy board, untill these day i have no clear reason about the real reason of me bieng banned, some of the posters claimed that my postings about Mr.Boners was upseting some people at your board, now recently the subject known as the Merov_ignian openly posted about hes many request to you the scciffy board ADMINS for me bieng banned, i did try to log in under a diferent handle and then you strongly reply to me that the usage of two handles or the usage of a cloned handle was againts your politics and as a result my IP was traced and locked.
Today these Merovignian person openly announce that hes posting under the handle "V",so how will you explaing and  answer these points to me:

1-Single letters handles are againts your politics.
2-He keeps hes Merov-ignian handle active.
3-Regarles of hes many insulting and degrading actinon towards many other posters hes very welcome at your board.
4-is these mean that the merovignian handle was canceled,if so why is he allowed to get a new handle?
5-if the cancelation was on the poster request these means that we will never see the Merovignian handle again?
In all fiarness, isnt that an injustice? what kind of people are you? is he one of your employees?.
Im finding these matther as a very lack of education and pdecency from you, im demanding a satisfaction or the fairnes in the banning of the ip traceable to the handles "v" and the Merovignian as you did to me.

On 3.0 (excerp from BSG 55 in answer to Langautron trhead about RDM being a Rockstar:

I want to offer my apologies to lang on the accidental deletion of his post about the 15 minutes of fame that RDM its getting by posting his pic all over his interviews and comments on BSG related issues, making BSG look like his work and original idea, i did screw up so bad while tryng to move the thread to the BSG forum and instead of moving it after 2 hours of posting on the issue i managed to be a complete asshole and delete the post.
my sincere apologies.

I just want to ad that i concur with Lang on these:

1- RDM should not take credit for other people´s ideas as his, the BSG production/acting TEAM is doing an outstanding job in the making of the show.
2-His 2 original projects Carnaval and Roswell where a total fuck ups.

3-He's on his 15 minutes of fame for being so lucky due the extention of the show and he's driving the show out of the original Larson´s storyline in the New Caprica arc.

4-These new Caprica storyline Arc took him 7 months to complete and IMHO it may backfire on him due the delicate issues that he's adressing.

5-Due the current war situation on Iraq, tryng to portray a rebelion of an insurgents fighters against a major military force can result in a very bad review on the American public who supports the Brave efforts of the valiant soldiers fighting overseas againts the Iraqie Rebelion,insurgent militia, no matter the cause its like trying to put the world upside down and may hurt many people's sensibilities on the subject.

6- the incarceration,lack of human rights, torture and interrogation on the prisoners at Gitmo can easily be traced back to the Cylon way of treatment of the human POW´S at 3.0, again it can backfire as a terrible mistake and unsensible matter for many people, again portraying these issues can easily lead the show to an immediate cancelation.

7- Im very surprised that nobody at sciffy has addressed these subject or forgotten than a real life situation as delicate as these should not be addressed in as a sciffy show on the good guys side, again its not an original idea its an unnecesary gamble, but its RDM gamble not Larson´s original concept.

8-IMHO these is why Eddie Olmos decided to stay at the Galactica in order to not take an active part in these resistance movement and when the original storyline will take over again he will be back to rescue the show, the persecution of a minority, the human rights,the equality among the human race and the fight for it.

9-In all due respect to Mr. Olmos IMHO RDM starts his ego fight eliminating for complete the role of Captain Apollo and immasculating Starbuck just to diminish Mr. Hatch efforts to bring Galactica back, in all fairnes Mr. Hatch should had been casted as Admiral Adama, in a very smart move RDM killed two birds on one shot,Casting Mr. Olmos a real Academy award nominated star, a human rights fighter, leaving Hatch out of any posible role, just a support guest actor, these in RDM personal efforts to take Galactica as his view and his work.

10- The outstanding work that we enjoy on these last 2.5 seasons are the result of the hard work and outstanding job of an excelent TEAM of writers,directors,actors and supporting fans, its in no way a one person work, as far as i remember Mr. Eick is the living proof of my statement, where is he? wheres his pic? does he not deserve his 15 minutes of fame? and Glen A. Larson´s original storyline? the Apollo´s arrow and the search for Earth?, my dear FRAKHEADS! lets hope these 3.0 better be good so we wont have a final short rush made fourth season on plan "B" taking over Larson´s original idea to find Earth again!.

I really wish RDM the best, even though he's playing a dangerous game on his 3.0 personal vision and lets hope the results give us many more BSG seasons.
BUT again lets not forget that these is NOT his original idea, Carnaval is- BSG is not.
A real star doesent need to show hes pic on every BSG related issue, a real star has hes own star.

The FRAKHEADS! point of view about occupation and precipice from the political perspectieve.
In response to Rohmaan about the insurgent movement:

Very accurate and apointed right in the midle of the plot, however lets stick to the orher side of the drama in order of NOT falling in the politics/paralles/historical endless retorica, Rohmaan its very certian in hes observations and Rishen went even further with her comparision to the German ss type of "solution" to the problem at that time frame.
that is clearly a gamble and ill wait and see how RDM will work hes way out of the general fanbase sensitieve to those issues.
However, RDM its getting and dragging attention to hes show, these formula has been proven before by Speilberg on two pinacles of hes career, Saving Privite Ryan, and Shlinders list, again these insurgent, execution and confintment formula isnt hes idea, its one of the oldest trick in the directors format in order (again) to create CONTROVERSY.
I bet you all that in the following chapters RDM will spare everybody´s life as you can see at the end of the show in the seasons preview,everybody stays alive.
Maybe Hatch its going down cuz RDM dont need him any more, we will see a resurection of Lee Adama kind of a Rocky Balboa ( again aproven formula)style cuz we fans have give Lee a very hard time during these Hiatus and now hes changing that making him the phoenix bird.
On Adama we will have lots of surprises i presume of course due the urge to come back and clearly (again) in the season preview we can see that hes return will be not as soon as we think.
Dee its going to play a mayor role in the destruction of the basestar and maybe she will be the one that resumes the quest for earth on Pegasus leaving Lee behind with the Admiral to fight the cylons.
I wont reflect on the comparisions on the current world scenarios paralles cuz these is NOT the place to play politics, one of our own its on hes way back from Iraq and hes proven hes bravenes earning a purple heath and two service commendations, so in respect to INDIO our exeptional FRAKHEAD! all Iraq comparitions with the show are forbiden efective now!.
Im sorry to discourage the politics avid fans but we the FRAKHEADS! do not talk about those subjects here we are about fun and the game of the honor of participate as an active Colonial Elite force, so we will play under that rules our rules of ebgagement based on the finest tradition of any army of the world, chivaldry, honor, courage,respect and agin most important fun! cuz these is all about FUN!.

A FRAKHEAD! its a term that defines the true escence of the real BSG fan, a fan who enjoys the show on the fun side of the reimagined "vision" and the cult to the old show, as in both shows the scenario can be actually happened so as in life you have the choice to decide how to live it, wasting your time in endless analisis of things that complicate your existance even more ( thats the porpouse of a job) or enjoyng your favorite show simply as its, a tv show! keeping it simple, fun and most important being real, being you, or in some cases the one you cant normally be cuz your social or "private entourage" LOL!.

If you remember all cool group of fans are always determine by the word "head" and as i remember one of the most cool and famous group of fans that even remains these days in "cool culture" are the "Deadheads" from Jerry Garcia´s Greatfulldead, there are the "Machineheads" from Deep purple,
the "airheads" from England (Hooligans that love to play air guitar) and so and on, anyway one of the coolest things about the show its the use of the word "FRAK" again as the real word it has many uses, cool uses, bad uses, fun uses, so in my believe at that time "Frak" its the escence of the show and the funiest part of it so i make a poll at sciffy for a name for the BSG fans, i came up with two nicknames:
"Ronmorons"
and
"FRAKHEADS!" always with the admiration simbol at the end of the word cuz we arent Trekkies we cuaght attention and bring controversie to the "Ronmorons".
Anyway poeple responded! and in 24 hours i have conformed a 72 registered "FRAKHEADS" airwing, all of them with a callsign and a Battlestar assignment not forgeting our main and controversial Mr. Boners, the FRAKHEADS! Admiral and now our emblem.
If you see Mr.boners you will have a clear definition on what a FRAKHEAD! is and you will find out that its clearly NOT a Trekkie in any aspect so we FRAKHEADS! are unique, sex loving,fun loving fans, not geeks or nerds that wants to ventilate theyr anger towards life by demonstrating a superior intelligeance, LOL!
We have our fight and cruzade againts those "Ronmorons" fans and we won!! we kick some assholes away from theyr main "nesting sites" mainly because we are very welll organized and loyal to eachother, that will explaing you why at BSG-55 www.frakheads.com we have really beautifull babes and pictorial and very descriptieve pics of that!.
As a matter of fact i believe that the BSG-55 FRAKHEADS! its the only BSG related site that have cool beautifull babes posting as regulars!
Because our one and only rule is:
WHAT HAPPEN AT THE FRAKHEADS! STAYS AT THE FRAKHEADS! if you can handle that and love fun and enjoy life or are in search of enjoy life from the BSG point of view then you are a FRAKHEAD!
