I was a big fan of the Original Series when I was a kid.  In fact, I still have a bunch of the toys, even my Warrior's jacket.  But now I'm an even bigger fan of the Reimagined Series.  I'm also a big Lego Geek.  I've built most of the ships and interiors, from the Galactica to the Hangar Deck, to the Officers' Head.  About a year ago, I started my own story, BSG: The Next Chapter which picks up where the Reimagined Series left off.  If anyone's interested and has the time, check it out!

We're also not a discussion site, although we do have an ever-growing [http://www.battlestarforum.com Battlestar Forum] where people can discuss the various shows and non-BSG topics as well!

To get started on the wiki, we suggest that you check out our [[BW:TUT|tutorial]], experiment in [[BW:SAND|the sandbox]] (a test editing area for those learning wiki code), and review some of our basic [[BW:POL|policies]] (which have important differences from other SF wikis). For some general questions and answers about the navigation and operation of the Wiki, check out the [[Battlestar Wiki:FAQ|Frequently Asked Questions]] (FAQ).

Of course, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you are more than welcome to bring them up at the [[BW:CN|Chiefs' noticeboard]] (which is frequented by the administrators of the Wiki) and at the [[BW:GQ|Galactipedians' Quorum]] (which is the hub for contributors, who are called "Galactipedians").

Furthermore, if you don't wish to see the ads, then please consider upgrading your account to a [[BW:MEMBERSHIP|paid membership]], which costs only $10 USD a year and helps support the wiki financially.
