My name is Mari Järve, and I'm from Estonia, a small Eastern European country no one has probably heard of, so I'll make a brief introduction: Estonians are mostly harmless, NOT the same as Russians, and even though we live in a strange and remote corner of the world, we DO have electricity, internet and other modern comforts :) I have a Master's degree in gene technology and I'm starting PhD studies, specializing in human evolutionary biology. I've loved the re-imagined BSG ever since I first came across it. As for calling myself ‘pipe dream’ in French - well, that's partly for fun and partly to indicate my intention to deal with the French Battlestar Wiki. Since no one will learn Estonian (can't imagine why, we only have 14 cases, no future tense etc), we are forced to study foreign languages. English and French being among the ones I've got the hang of, I decided to lend a hand. I'm afraid I'll be rather slow, since this is a hobby project for me.
