The officer wears a wedding band, seen while brandishing his sidearm {{TRS|Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II}}.

The officer later accompanies Roslin on [[New Caprica]] following her escape during events leading up to the [[Second Exodus]] {{TRS|Exodus, Part II}}.

An unnamed male assassin using a wrist-mounted garrote is in [[Phelan]]'s employ circa {{ACH|1}}. He first becomes known by the Colonial military after garroting Commander [[Jack Fisk]] in his quarters aboard ''[[Pegasus (TRS)|Pegasus]]'' before Phelan himself, as a consequence of Fisk's disastrous attempt to undermine Phelan's control of the [[Black market (organization)|black market]]''.''

The assassin is subsequently part of a trap laid for {{Callsign|Apollo}} in [[Shevon]]'s quarters aboard ''[[Cloud 9]]'', strangling Adama with his garrote to the point of unconsciousness. After Adama regains consciousness, he discovers that the assassin has been executed with a single gun shot to the head in an adjacent room. [[Tom Zarek]] surmises that this was an offering by Phelan, so that the investigation into Fisk's murder could be easily closed without further repercussions to the marketeers {{TRS|Black Market}}.

This leads to a stand-off between Adama and the henchman's boss, [[Phelan]].

Following Phelan's public assassination by Adama on ''[[Prometheus (ship)|Prometheus]]'', the henchman can be seen accompanying [[Tom Zarek]] in ''Prometheus''<nowiki/>' black marketplace {{TRS|Black Market}}.

He mistakes her for his wife, [[Ellen Tigh]], much to the woman's distress; the woman then leads the young child in her apparent care away from the disturbed Tigh {{TRS|Torn}}.

After beginning her assembly of a fleet of surviving civilian vessels, [[Laura Roslin]] talks to the captain of the [[Botanical Cruiser|''Botanical Cruiser'']], one of approximately twenty ships gathered not fitted with a [[FTL]] drive, assuring him that all his ship's vital needs will be attended to.  However, he dies along with his crew and passengers, when the Cylons attack Roslin's nascent fleet at their rendezvous point approximately five hours from the orbit of [[Caprica (RDM)|Caprica]] {{TRS|Miniseries, Night 2}}.
