He first becomes known by the Colonial military after garroting Commander [[Jack Fisk]] in his quarters aboard ''[[Pegasus (TRS)|Pegasus]]'' before Phelan himself, as a consequence of Fisk's disastrous attempt to undermine Phelan's control of the [[Black market (organization)|black market]]''.''

The assassin is subsequently part of a trap laid for {{Callsign|Apollo}} in [[Shevon]]'s quarters aboard ''[[Cloud 9]]'', strangling Adama with his garrote to the point of unconsciousness. After Adama regains consciousness, he discovers that the assassin has been executed with a single gun shot to the head in an adjacent room. [[Tom Zarek]] surmises that this was an offering by Phelan, so that the investigation into Fisk's murder could be easily closed without further repercussions to the marketeers {{TRS|Black Market}}.
