"Full Colors" is also the name of the highest winning hand in the game. Players declare their hands after betting is concluded, or "fold" (resign) depending on the cards they were dealt.

A pyramid team, the [[Caprica Buccaneers]], is on retreat in the mountains of [[The Twelve Colonies (RDM)#Caprica|Caprica]] when the [[Fall of the Twelve Colonies|Cylon bombing]] begins. The team forms a [[Resistance (movement)|human resistance group]].

The separate continuity [[Battlestar Galactica (2005 Novel)|novelization of the Miniseries]] gives the name of "Triad" for the card game shown.
