: Furthermore, this policy will not stop people from watching the movie early. Not at all. That was never the point. The point is that we don't want to redistribute content that has not been cleared for release until 10/27 by posting recaps of it and updates based on content aired in the movie. It is designed to protect the Wiki from a legal standpoint and, let me make this crystal clear, anyone who threatens that will be dealt with accordingly to the fullest extent of the law.

* It would be helpful to know where it is. 23skidoo 07:11, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
* From the Bonus Material menu, navigate down to Edward James Olmos: From Admiral to Director featurette and then navigate to the right. A Colonial Seal should appear on the screen, press enter when you see it. Fjenkins 18:10, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

Deleted Story Note
I couldn't make hide nor hair of the following item (which may have been a pre-release bit of speculation that turned moot). If I'm reading this right it suggests Gina was aboard Galactica long before Pegasus rendezvoused. Or perhaps it just needs to be rewritten. Here it is. 23skidoo 07:11, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
* An outfit is listed on propworx as being worn in the extended version of "Daybreak" by Gina Inviere, in a scene where she speaks to Sharon Valerii just before the latter becomes a sleeper agent. This scene does not appear in the extended "Daybreak", but Ronald Moore's commentary on that episode states that it was moved to "The Plan". Thus, the Six seen speaking to Boomer is Gina Inviere.

: Ok, so here's the scene... The scene relates to Boomer's backstory about the mining colony of Troy. Boomer is placed on a civilian liner as a Sharon Valerii, who is supposed to be a cadet in the Colonial Fleet. Gina is one of the agents who arranges the destruction of Troy to supplement Boomer's backstory; this is a flashback that occurs some 2 years before the Fall, and hence why it was in the original version of Daybreak before it was edited and so forth. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 16:06, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

: It's a flashback to when they were on a plane together, it's not happening on Galactica. The scene is indeed in The Plan, so I thought it would be clear to anyone who had watched the whole thing. But memory's not perfect. -- Noneofyourbusiness 00:09, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

Broadcast Changes
I was looking at the wiki after watching The Plan on SiFi last night, and there were apparently some changes (I've not seen the DVD version though). The scene with the Battlestars being disabled by the Cylons was notably missing, and the Hybrid's "the blah blah blah of blah blah blah are burning" speech added "The Temples of Geminon are burning" to the speech. Not sure what else was added/removed, but thought it should be noted.--Rowanalpha 20:45, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
:From what I can recollect, the TV version also omitted all material from both episodes of "Kobol's Last Gleaming" (save for Boomer shooting Adama) and all references to Kara's abduction and subsequent escape from the farm; they even cut the meaningful part when the Cavils stop to see the Final Five all staring back at them on Galactica. I also noticed that they added a wide shot of Cavil watching over Ellen in Picon's rubble and took out the flashes of Saul finding her on the first Earth from "Sometimes a Great Notion". They also shifted some scenes around. The whole attack on the Colonies was choreographed way differently; the Pyramid game was intercut more with the setting up of the attacks whereas the TV version seemed to lump most of it together. And while I'm going on, I recall they had Cavil finally allowing young John into this chapel and then cutting to him chowing down on the leftovers. I've sen The Plan about half a dozen times and went over it in preparation for the airing so I got a good idea of the changes, but someone probably went over it with a finer comb than I. Oh, and the nudity! No tits and ass (and cock); the women at the bar looked to have digitally added tops, but they did leave one shot where the topless waitress is out of focus. --Mars 21:23, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Cloud Nine and Pegasus?? where were they??
I know they couldn't possibly have fit anything to do with Pegasus in The Plan, but what about both the mighty Mercury-class Battlestar and Cloud Nine not appearing at all in any shots of the fleet during the time periods associated to them? I'm really disappointed since I enjoyed Cloud Nine and logically it should've appeared along with a hell of alot more vessels, this fleet did have over 60 ships in it prior to New Caprica so they should've appeared.

I'm also disappointed that they never took the opportunity to clear up dispute on the Greenleaf attack and maybe attempt to assign dates to episodes in Season 2 that associated with Cylons. The writers sure did miss alot to fit in some stuff that was deemed useless to me. I mean with the whole Simon on Caprica thing and the fleet. What was the point?

Corey "Shadow" Danian 14:42, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

: "The Plan" is written by a writer who didn't join the series until Season 3. Secondly, things like the Greenleaf attack doesn't have the importance that you've placed upon it, as "Sacrifice" was a Colonial-centric episode that had little to do with the Cylons themselves or Cavil's plan. The point of "The Plan" was to tell "the story from the Cylons' perspective," thus all the Simon stuff. Actually, in my humble opinion, the Simon stuff actually fleshed out that character far more than what we've ever seen in the series. We already knew Cavil was a bastard. Regardless, this is a topic more suitable for discussion on the Battlestar Forum, and you are more welcome to take these discussion topics over there. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 16:46, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Vancouver
"In what is either an Easter egg (given the large amount of Battlestar Galactica filming which took place in and around Vancouver) or another CGI cost-cutting move, the MIRV is seen detonating over a large city [1] which is a Google Maps satellite image of downtown Vancouver, rotated approximately 180 degrees counterclockwise."

I'd like to point out that rotating anything by 180 degrees gives the same result, regardless of the rotation being clockwise or anticlockwise. ATAlun 15:31, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
