== Boomer's Origins ==

A writer from 83.208.88.147 added what was an unfortunately mangled addition to the page regarding Galactica-Boomer's origins as well as a question on the farms' use. I don't believe the writer is a native English writer or speaker and it was difficult to interpret, much less edit at first. I paired down the question on how viable human embryos could be used, which was an insightful question. However, in a second element the writer suggested (I think) that Boomer may have been legitimately born by humans who were not Cylons but controlled by the Cylons. This flies in the face of what we do know of humano-Cylons.

Number Six, in the miniseries is genuinely surprised at the small frailty of a human baby, strongly suggesting that humano-Cylons are generated as a mature adult and never as adolescents. We know from this episode that Cylons can't biologically create life by gestation like humans, nor are they compatible at the genetic level without some help (in Helo's case, love). While the writer has a point that the Cylons may have  placed their creations within the Colonies much earlier than 2 years prior to the events of the miniseries, we haven't any evidence as yet that supports this. All indications thus far suggest that the Cylon infiltration was a recent event. That doesn't mean that the Cylons didn't do their homework, since Boomer's life history apparently holds up to scrutiny from others and from Boomer herself. It should be noted that Boomer believed she was truly human and never had doubts until her nascent programming become more active and she began missing blocks of time.  I hope I gleaned and rewrote the writer's thoughts appropriately in the areas where their contribution wasn't patently contradictory to the data we know. :Anyway, as you said, Boomer believed she is natural human. That what I wanted to say is the thing that we actually '''don't know''' how Boomer infiltrated army. There is possibility that she survived that accident what was noticed in mini-series. Cylons may used the accident as a cover for deploying new cylon agent - the Boomer. Their "parents" may died in that accident (it was a big explosion though) even with their true children. Boomer could be deployed then. I just didn't noticed this possibility.

::Welcome, Pavel. We'll try to help out your contributions by fixing up any English errors as necessary. The idea that there was a real Sharon makes sense as other humans over time would have had to raise the orphan, which would create plenty of paperwork that would be hard to forge and plenty of humans that knew Sharon that would be harder to produce. Per [[BW:FORUM]], I've moved these answers from the questions section. 

**Since it is confirmed that Cylon agents do transmit their consciousness or updated information from body to body upon death, this implies that '''all''' models share memories between each other, no matter where they are. Caprica-Valerii seems to know much of ''Galactica's'' state of affairs when asked. If such communication is the case, wouldn't the relative strength of such a signal from the body be a tip-off for Colonials to locate the remaining Cylon infiltrators?
**Valerii also says that she "hasn't accessed that data" when asked how many farms there are.  Does this mean that Cylons transmit information only upon death?  She knew about Leoben #2's "visit" with Thrace ([[Flesh and Bone]]) but she doesn't know the thoughts of the other Cylons on the planet who have not died. Conversely the Cylons seem unaware of her rebellious thoughts.
***Has the rebellious Sharon Valerii severed her connection with the other Cylons?  After she switched sides in "[[Flesh and Bone]]," the other Cylons seem unaware of her current thoughts and actions. Perhaps she only knows of events on ''Galactica'' before this point?
**Leoben Conoy #2 appeared to acknowledge in "[[Flesh and Bone]]" that he was too far from Cylon forces for his personality to be recovered. Was he able to covertly transmit his memories to one of the basestars encountered in [[Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II]]" or "[[Scattered]]" by way of another agent? ([[Resurrection Ship|Likely answer]])
**RDM's blog states that one of the member's of Anders' resistance was probably a Cylon (not necessarily any of the resistance members we saw on screen) who tipped them off to Anders, though this didn't make the final cut of the episode.

**Caprica-Valerii seemed to imply that no viable hybrid embryos had ever been produced by the Farms, at least up until this point.  Then again, she said that they "weren't very successful," a somewhat vague answer suggesting inpregnation or growth but no viable fetuses.
