| : Well, it's insinuated that the sound knocks out the pilots, as you can see them react negatively to it before they are rendered unconscious. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 15:43, 17 April 2007 (CDT)

| ::I guess I'll go rewatch it. I just saw separating the unconsciousness from the sound as a neat way of eliminating the whole "how does the sound travel through space" issue. Maybe it's all in their head (from the psychic-knockout-whatchamajiggers). --Steelviper 15:51, 17 April 2007 (CDT)

| :::I never viewed the sound as actually being a sound, but rather an attempt at telepathic communication, possibly to warn the Colonials about Iblis... But that doesn't truly make a lot of sense either, as warning them would violate the whole "free choice" thing (as would abducting them). -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 16:15, 17 April 2007 (CDT)
