I don't doubt that Anders means "man", but doesn't Anderson < Andrew's Son? Whether Andrew < Ander is another matter, but I thought this worth mentioning. Is this being too nitpickey? --Day 00:34, 28 December 2005 (EST) | I don't doubt that Anders means "man", but doesn't Anderson < Andrew's Son? :Andrew and Anders both come from the greek word Andros which means "man." According to what I've read, Anders (the first name anyway) is the Scandinavian form of Andrew. Andros is where we get things like Alexander (Defender of Man) and Android (robot in form of man). So, they both mean the same thing anyway. --Talos 00:42, 28 December 2005 (EST) | :Andrew and Anders both come from the greek word Andros which means "man." : Yeah, I definitely agree with you. However, the best screencap I could find was the one where Anders didn't have his shirt on (during his makeout session with Tory in the pilot's bunk). Otherwise, everything with a uniform is either in the darkness of the Big G, or in extreme close ups that, while show his eyes, don't show that he's got a uniform. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 18:51, 4 May 2007 (CDT) | : Yeah, I definitely agree with you.
