The quality of the AVIs I have suck, so I'm not sure. Also, is it just me or are the uniforms somewhat inspired by the Original Series? :Yeah it's a bit ambiguous. Bodies are carried away and one crewmember goes to one of the stretchers as if that person still lives. On the other hand, it looks like Gavin dies and Adama's reaction seems to reinforce that. Maybe it'll be cleared up the in the next episodes.

:The music was TOS-like too. It was alright, but I don't like the TOS Cylon Raiders in this context. They even have windows. It makes no sense whatsoever for a machine to control another machine like that. If the Cylons have the resources to build their own stuff like the basestars (which should be explained at some point btw), they can also build ships that fly themselves. I'm not even looking forward to see the TOS Centurions if they don't update their movement. The ship was being turned into a museum, why up-armor or upgrade to the latest navigation software when it was likely to stay put and not see action for the rest of her days.  Why Columbia and Galactica have different degrees of armor cladding ... maybe they were pressed into service early?  They were at different stages of completion?  Galactica was completed first, and Columbia had additional weak spots armored as a result of lessons learned? == Episode 7 ==

According to the radio report, the war ends right as Operation Raptor Talon goes underway. Although we cannot ascertain how the war was going for the Cylons overall, and the lay military personnel wouldn't be totally aware of the strategic situation, Adama and McGavin still seem to see no end in sight for the war. Why then, would Cylon High Command stop the war at ''this'' instant, if RDM didn't intend to show the importance of this experiment? That ending the war was preferable to humanity gaining knowledge of their hybrid research is obvious in hindsight, and likely was noticed by Adama after Humanoid Cylons were revealed.
