| I doubt that actual league play is done one-on-one because of the size of the squad introduced in the show. Probably there were three on a side at a time. Much more would get very crowded, I think. Anyway... Does anyone have thoughts on this? Much of this is highly conjectural, so I don't think it belongs on the article page, but it's interesting to note. --Day 08:13, 28 September 2005 (EDT) | | I doubt that actual league play is done one-on-one because of the size of the squad introduced in the show. | :Kara noted that the court in "Resistance" was "regulation-size", didn't she? --April Arcus 10:57, 28 September 2005 (EDT)

| :: Or "regulation" anyway, yes. I assume that means the lines are where they should be and the right distances apart and all that. That's the basis for my assumption of small teams in normal league play. The size of the court allows for pick-ups games, though. Kind of like singles or doubles in tennis, or, again, basketball. --Day 14:49, 28 September 2005 (EDT)

| The title is The Official Magazine Battlestar Galactica. I can't tell how closely it is associated with the show, but the article in question (pp. 28-29) seems to either have been written by or be a paraphrase of an interview with Stunt Coordinator Mike Mitchell who is credited (in the article and with the help of others) for creating the Pyramid we saw in Resistance. --Day 17:51, 13 October 2005 (EDT)

| Should we move the majority of this content to "Pyramid (RDM)" and the stub about card to "Pyramid (TOS)"? I think somewhere we decided we liked that method of making pages, but I thought I'd put it out there first. --Day 00:19, 28 December 2005 (EST)

| == If You Build It... ==

| I was musing, the other day on the drive home from work, about what it would take to build a Pyramid arena. I thought plywood would be best for the stands and goal... And I was thinking that I'd rather play on grass than concrete (because I'm not as hardcore as Starbuck and Sammy Anders), so I thought, maybe I'd cut out some plastic tarp or something, put rivets in the corners and use tent-stakes to tack them down for use as the three "safe zones". Side-lines would then be either played by eye (since the stands are pretty close together) or be more tarp. I think this would be do-able... And I bet I have a few friends who'd help (however, they live in Austin, not Dallas). Then we'd just have to figure out how to play. Anyway... I felt like blathering about it in case anyone cared to read it. --Day 03:06, 10 February 2006 (EST)
