:How would we do that? We don't know how many Cylons added to the total population, but I am assuming you are interested in the human population. How would we get that? Is it just subtract 33 (police cadets killed in suicide bombing) minus 4 (humans killed in power plant bombing) minus 200 (suspected insurgents). Well, strike that, we don't know how many of the suspects were killed by the Cylons at the end of Occuprice. So are we just doing 37 minus the population as of the end of LDBY, or shall we wait? Just wondering. --Homeworld 16:03, 8 October 2006 (CDT) | :How would we do that? ::Well, I forgot the two suicide bombers themselves, so that's 2 plus 37, 39. LDBY population - 39, AS OF FAR. Other than that, the casualty rates of the 200 suspects will be unresolved until next Friday, so no other information except 39 solid human deaths, plus perhaps one of a guy undergoing torture at the beginning of the episode (I could hear some screams when the Cavil entered Tigh's cell). --Homeworld 16:08, 8 October 2006 (CDT) | ::Well, I forgot the two suicide bombers themselves, so that's 2 plus 37, 39. :::It's not worth the bother, IMO. When we were getting regular population updates during the 2nd season it was fun to add up the totals and see how close we could get, but without regular confirmation, it seems like a futile exercise. --[[User: | :::It's not worth the bother, IMO. ::We never counted known Cylons as part of the surviving population. So any Cylons added to the population (such as the duplicates of already-known Cylon models) would not affect those numbers. As for the futility of such an exercise... I do agree that errors are much more likely to occur now that there is no longer any on-screen count. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 16:21, 8 October 2006 (CDT) | ::We never counted known Cylons as part of the surviving population. Is there are a special reason why the whole page is written in the past tense? Usually I'd edit it, but by now someone else should have noticed that as well. So maybe it's supposed to be that way... --Serenity 05:10, 29 October 2006 (CST) | Is there are a special reason why the whole page is written in the past tense? : Perhaps it was noted, but maybe no one brought the issue up. Though I do fully agree that the tense needs to be changed. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 14:16, 29 October 2006 (CST) | : Perhaps it was noted, but maybe no one brought the issue up.
