:How would we do that?  We don't know how many Cylons added to the total population, but I am assuming you are interested in the human population.  How would we get that?  Is it just subtract 33 (police cadets killed in suicide bombing) minus 4 (humans killed in power plant bombing) minus 200 (suspected insurgents).  Well, strike that, we don't know how many of the suspects were killed by the Cylons at the end of Occuprice.  So are we just doing 37 minus the population as of the end of LDBY, or shall we wait?  Just wondering. --Homeworld 16:03, 8 October 2006 (CDT)

::Well, I forgot the two suicide bombers themselves, so that's 2 plus 37, 39.  LDBY population - 39, AS OF FAR.  Other than that, the casualty rates of the 200 suspects will be unresolved until next Friday, so no other information except 39 solid human deaths, plus perhaps one of a guy undergoing torture at the beginning of the episode (I could hear some screams when the Cavil entered Tigh's cell). --Homeworld 16:08, 8 October 2006 (CDT)

:::It's not worth the bother, IMO. When we were getting regular population updates during the 2nd season it was fun to add up the totals and see how close we could get, but without regular confirmation, it seems like a futile exercise. --April Arcus 16:12, 8 October 2006 (CDT)
::We never counted known Cylons as part of the surviving population. So any Cylons added to the population (such as the duplicates of already-known Cylon models) would not affect those numbers. As for the futility of such an exercise... I do agree that errors are much more likely to occur now that there is no longer any on-screen count. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 16:21, 8 October 2006 (CDT)
Ressurection
I think they might have contructed a new ressurection facility on New Caprica. The Cavil and Leon models appeared mere hours after being killed and so had to be in close proximity.
Does this mean that despite the destruction of the Ressurection Ship, the Cylon models are from now on still able to be reborn?- Commander Mazien 12:06, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
:It has been confirmed to us that there has been more than 1 Resurrection Ship since the attack on the colonies, and that one of these ships safeguarded the 12 Colonies, while another safeguarded the fleet (everything is out of range of the Cylon Homeworld). Judging by the timeframe and by logistics, it's more probable that the Cylons moved one of their Res Ships withing a safe distance from the System of New Caprica.--Sauron18 12:12, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
:: Where has it been confirmed that there was more than one ship? -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 15:00, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
:::In the official communiques Bradley spoke of "a few" Resurrection Ships. It's also in the official Scifi.com glossary, but I trust BT more.--Sauron18 15:13, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
: I think there might be a resurrection plant (for lack of a better term) on New Caprica, like there was on Caprica where Caprica Six and Boomer were resurrected. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 14:59, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
::Actually, Caprica, and it seems Boomer too, were resurrected on a ship. --Sauron18 15:11, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
:::When was that established? --Madbrood 15:48, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
::::Well, We always knew that there were only two choices for where they resurrected:  a Ship, or a Facility on the Colonies. We know Caprica was reborn on a ship because of the timeframe, so only Boomer was left ambiguous. However, Grace Park recently confirmed that Boomer was reborn in a ship. --Sauron18 15:54, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
If there were more Ressurection Ships, why didn't the Cylons just move another one close to The Fleet and continue to attack en masse? Commander Mazien 18:53, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
:Because more than 1 does not mean many. BT stressed "one of their few Resurrection Ships". They've got more than 1, but probably just about 3 in total. And at least one other Resurrection Ship was occupied with safeguarding the Colonies. --Sauron18 19:14, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
Cylon Discovery
When Gina left the Nuclear signature that the Cylons discovered, did the Cylons discover it at the moment of detonation or mere days before the occupation? Commander Mazien 18:59, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
:Doral said they were over a light year away, so they probably just detected the radiation a little bit before occupation. It would take the radiation that long to move out that far. --Talos 19:50, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
tense problem
Is there are a special reason why the whole page is written in the past tense? Usually I'd edit it, but by now someone else should have noticed that as well. So maybe it's supposed to be that way... --Serenity 05:10, 29 October 2006 (CST)
: Perhaps it was noted, but maybe no one brought the issue up. Though I do fully agree that the tense needs to be changed. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 14:16, 29 October 2006 (CST)
Anyone Left Behind?
Were there other Humans besides Baltar who failed to escape in the exodus from New Caprica?  Since the Cylons abandoned the planet after the exodus, could there have been a handful of Humans still left to try to bleakly survive who neither escaped or were exterminated?  -- Davidkevin 07:13, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
