:It's not really the same as the flight pod, but is a major component of the flight pod. The TOS flight pods still have the landing area (landing bay?) in the rear where Vipers and shuttles land (and where the hostage crisis in "Baltar's Escape" takes place). The only area that the TOS seems to lack is the hangar deck. --[[User:Steelviper|Steelviper]] 09:31, 2 January 2007 (CST) | :It's not really the same as the flight pod, but is a major component of the flight pod. ::I just thought that it might be more consistent to have roughly the same article name where possible. Maybe I'm not the only one who is a bit confused as to what "launch bay" actually refers to. Seems like a term for the area compromising the launch tubes, but it's not very clear --[[User:Serenity|Serenity]] 09:52, 2 January 2007 (CST) | ::I just thought that it might be more consistent to have roughly the same article name where possible.
