| ::This is almost an element of the series that "hides in plain sight" -- I was suprised to arrive here and discover nothing written about it. The polygonal/crystalline geometry is a significant distinguishing characteristic of the show (it probably says something about the cultural evolution of these people and their technology; we had rolled sheets cut into segments, squares/rectangles. What did they have? Perhaps something like friable basalt megaliths?). Does it carry over from the original series?
