:Probably. I need to take another look at the timeline after I'm done with the Colonies series. --April Arcus 17:34, 17 September 2005 (EDT)

Logic Bomb
Logic Bomb
Did Sharon actually deploy the same logic bomb to the cylon fleet? It seems implausible that they'd design a virus that their own devices were susceptible to. More likely, she was aware of some backdoors in their programming which she was able to exploit, in the same way that the Colonial fleet was decimated via a backdoor on the CNP, not an actual "virus". --April Arcus 20:47, 22 September 2005 (EDT)

:While Adama may not have been correct, that is what he said to the crew after Valerii completed the task. A backdoor gives access, but a virus or worm completes the programming. No, I don't believe she used the same logic bomb...but took pieces of it and sent it on a transmission frequency that no properly-programmed Cylon would expect to receive odd information on, especially from another Cylon with the proper credentials such as Valerii. :How could they "use" one of them?  I mean Starbuck got one in Act of Contrition on a lucky shot that took out its brain, but they A) Didn't know how long the virus would work before the Raiders turn on again B) Didn't know if reinforcements would show up.  --The Merovingian (C - E) 10:29, 11 June 2006 (CDT)

::I hadn't really thought that much about the ways they could use them, I just thought it was odd that they didn't even consider it. Later in the series one of the Heavy Raiders comes in useful, aiding the jumps to Caprica, so in hindsight, more captured raiders could have had their uses. --Pearse 11:33, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
:::This has been discussed before in the episode article. The likely reasons why the Fleet didn't pick up include what Merv said, and that while the Raider ship may be disabled, the autonomous living element of it could still "kick." I prefer to think that it wasn't worth a salvage attempt since the battlestar wasn't up to fighting as its hard drives were restored and her fighters could only do so much if reinforcements did appear. One important note: Galactica hasn't mass production facilities to use the volume of scrap that they generated from the shoot. A more modern battlestar like Pegasus could have used the stuff, but at that time to Galactica, Pegasus was as dead as the rest of the Colonial Fleet. --Spencerian 16:24, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
::::I wouldn't be surprised if Adama ordered the destruction of the Cylons purely for morale reasons.  Morale in the fleet was pretty low at that point, and letting the pilots vent on the disabled Cylons probably did wonders.  --Jack of Spades 12:51, 11 September 2006 (CDT)
:::::Yeah, the episode also supports that, 'cause they show how much fun everyone's having shooting the Cylons right to hell. --BklynBruzer 12:53, 11 September 2006 (CDT)
:::::Also, I just noticed, interestingly, Adama never did order the destruction of the Cylons. He certainly supported it, but the order was given by Col. Tigh. --BklynBruzer 07:24, 19 September 2006 (CDT)
Blackbird
Anyone else notice the Blackbird is in the middle of our Cylon Turkey Shoot picture? Hehehe --BklynBruzer 11:02, 11 September 2006 (CDT)
:Uh... of course. That's why we picked it. (Not really.) Good spot. I hadn't noticed that had been sitting right in front of us all along. Continuation of the mad props to Madbrood for the initial sighting of the blackbird in that battle. --Steelviper 11:07, 11 September 2006 (CDT)
::Yeah, I also tossed in a bit about the Blackbird appearing in the Notes section of the Turkey Shoot page. --BklynBruzer 11:22, 11 September 2006 (CDT)
:::WTF? Why would the Blackbird be there? She doesn't even take her maiden flight until after the battle is over. Or am I missing a joke or the use of a fake photo? Should we add an anvil, rubber chicken and kitchen sink floating through the shot to complete the thoroughness of the Colonial asskicking? :) --Spencerian 12:05, 11 September 2006 (CDT)
::::Editing frak up, methinks. --BklynBruzer 12:22, 11 September 2006 (CDT)
:::::Thanks for the mention, Steelviper. Here's my entry on it when i initially spotted it, guys. --Madbrood 09:29, 19 September 2006 (CDT)
