| My casual research indicates that this term is more fan-derived. I find nothing of this term yet in canonical sources, nor, as I think of it, is a logical separation; the Colonies appear to have a unified space defense force under the name of the [[Colonial Fleet]]. I'll be personally liberal in the time it takes to verify the source of this separation of armed sources, otherwise I will create a redirect of this article to [[Colonial Fleet]]. '''However''', I really want this article deleted because it is a fanon name, and "Colonial Defence Force" is only one of literally *''dozens''* of possible names for such an organization. Why not "Colonial Strategic Self Defense Force"? Roslin notes to her pilot in the Miniseries to "call the Ministry of Civil Defense", suggesting yet another branch (albeit civilian).
