I mean- we began the series without a Quorum and we're ending the series without a Quorum. | == Zarek's Joke ==
| |
|
| |
| As Tom Zarek is escorted from the flight deck, we hear the ending of a joke that he is telling to Racetrack:
| |
| " . . . shall we save the kids? And the attorney says, 'Frak them'. And the priest says, 'Do we have time?' "
| |
|
| |
| After both laugh, Racetrack says, "You're gross."

| * Since you've linked this section of the talk page in both "Blood on the Scales" and the "Religion of the Twelve Colonies (RDM)" articles, this should go in the "Noteworthy Quotes" section of the article, really. It's typically not a good idea to link to talk pages, since they can be archived and thus the links invalidated. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 21:09, 16 July 2011 (EDT)

| *Done, and thanks for the tip. I wanted you to know that I struggled with NPOV on this one. I am not trying to condemn the Church or disparage the seriousness of allegations against it, or spark a debate here; this is a tragic and complicated issue. I just though it interesting to note the similarity between Colonial culture and ours. I first considered the joke an anachronism, but as I was writing up the Note, I decided that any large organization (religious, military, government) would have at least a few bad apples and that Colonial culture (like ours) might put other members under a cloud of suspicion because of the actions of a few. -- Dogger55 07:55, 17 July 2011 (EDT)
