| I find it hard to believe that Gaeta's quote, 10 ships out of 35 is in reference to the entire fleet. That means half the fleets ships are gone, which doesn't jive with the number of people still alive OR onscreen destructions. If I'm not mistaken we've seen less than 10 ships destroyed on screen (Pixis, the Rising Star and 2-3 others, I think there were 3 lost in The Passage).

| Since Gaeta doesn't definitively say anything that would indicate that 35 ships is nothing more than a statistic of some kind, and not necessarily the entire fleet, I'm going to remove that note from the Analysis section unless someone objects.[[User:RUSnooky|RUSnooky]] 04:05, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

| :I always assumed a number of ships did not make it off of the surface of new caprica, and this was the reason people were living in the galactica's starboard hangar deck. If this is the case, 35 doesn't seem too few.{{unsigned|Dogspunk}}

| *Done, and thanks for the tip. I wanted you to know that I struggled with NPOV on this one. I am not trying to condemn the Church or disparage the seriousness of allegations against it, or spark a debate here; this is a tragic and complicated issue. I just though it interesting to note the similarity between Colonial culture and ours. I first considered the joke an anachronism, but as I was writing up the Note, I decided that any large organization (religious, military, government) would have at least a few bad apples and that Colonial culture (like ours) might put other members under a cloud of suspicion because of the actions of a few. -- [[User:Dogger55|Dogger55]] 07:55, 17 July 2011 (EDT)
