:All the pages would need the separate continuity tag, but if you beleive in it, go for it. I think they would also need to be in a namespace (2005 Novel), just like this page. --Shane (T - C - E) 19:45, 9 June 2006 (CDT)

::The main interest for me is not so much the differences, but the additions and whether the series proves or disproves them. Once I get some stuff together, I will need help on the structure. Thanks.--gougef 20:09, 9 June 2006 (CDT)

:::Gougef, since the differences in the novelization make it in truth a separate continuity, please enjoy noting the differences but remember that "proof" or "disproof" doesn't really apply here. As the novelization is an official product, it's as "right" as the miniseries, but each is right in its own little worlds. --Spencerian 11:35, 10 June 2006 (CDT)
::::Spencerian, would you agree that "HUSHER" is an error. However, unlike the new comics and novels, this book is about the Miniseries and that continuity which has be filmed and broadcasted, therefore "canon". Maybe, this is an issue of canonicity, instead of continuity, but I defer. Prove/disprove may have been a little strong. --gougef 14:18, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
:::::Oh, yes, definitely. I noted your addition in the article, and that's interesting to see. The author has some leeway in changing what we've seen (as we used the aired episodes as the prime canonical sources). Likewise, the comic has done the same, despite both comic and novel being based on the RDM scripts or aired content. Since it doesn't follow precisely, we have to differentiate it, but not wholly write it off as fluff since both comic and novels are "official sources." Thus, we mark it as a separate continuity from everything. Hope that's clear. I hope to get my hands on a copy of the book to see the differences myself. --Spencerian 16:18, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
I appreciated any recommendations or ideas about format this page as I add stuff. --gougef 14:18, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
:I recommend looking at the Battlestar Galactica 0 page, which I formatted in part to work like our episode pages to allow commentary and analysis. There are other book pages too, such as "The Cylon's Secret." You can probably avoid placing summaries of this book word-for-word since it should follow the miniseries very closely. However, the book may discuss things we haven't in the miniseries episode pages that could stand some scrutiny. --Spencerian 16:18, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
:: Help!! not happy with the "Notes" heading. Also, since article is pretty much the same as the Miniseries, the article is turning out differently (more like a comparison) than it would be for a new novel. I just don't see repeating the same info. Thanks, --gougef 19:01, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
:::To me it looks good. You might not need those last two sections though. --Shane (T - C - E) 19:09, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
:::Looks good, Gougef. Nice work. --Spencerian 19:43, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
The analysis about Cylon "awakening" is referring to Brother Cavil in the Season 2 finale, not Boomer, in the season I finale. I thought that it might be too spoilerish to put it in an article about the Miniseries, but there are other spoilers here so I could put it in. --FrankieG 20:00, 15 June 2006 (CDT)
:The only parallel I see between Cavil and Doral is that they both seemed to have quite low key "public relations" tasks, rather than direct missions to destroy the human race. I wouldn't say Galactica Cavil had any kind of awakening. He seemed completely aware of who he was and he only tried to convince the crew that he was human until he realised it was pointless(because the other Cavil model was in front of him). Both copies knew they were Cylons. --Pearse 19:21, 16 June 2006 (CDT)
::I disagree, but will admit is it possible and open to interpretation and without knowing the internal motivations is impossible to determine. Dean Stockwell's excellent performance had me believing that the character did not not know. Maybe this discussion should occur over at Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II. --FrankieG 19:40, 16 June 2006 (CDT)

I have no problem with citing answers given at fan conventions, but I think we should footnote such things with the convention's name, location, and the date the comment was made. --April Arcus 23:53, 7 July 2006 (CDT)
