:No it can't. Why? Because most of the information in it is just made up for purposes of the game: the storyline is notoriously shoddy. To bring this topic up to date: The video game, as is the official comic, is an official product, but since it contradicts with many aspects of both series, please consider the video game and its characters and objects as a separate continuity.
