:While "NCD2539" doesn't roll off the tongue, it is a short search term. Battlestar Wiki is an encyclopedia, so any effort to shorten, simplify or differentiate a search term when possible to avoid numerous redirects or disambiguations. Sometimes keeping length down isn't easy, such as "[[Standoff Between Galactica and Pegasus]]", a title that had a long debate on its talk page. "Battle of the Eye" is OK as it will have links, is short, and differentiates itself well. "Battle of the Algae Planet" is OK but also shares its name with the planet's article. "Battle for the Eye of Jupiter" is long and creates confusion with the artifact's article and the episode article. One could argue that association by title ''is'' a good idea in searching, but we just have to watch length and frequency of use. Search for "Pegasus" and you will understand why differentiation is important in considering a name when it is very common. --[[User:Spencerian|Spencerian]] 10:30, 19 December 2006 (CST) | :While "NCD2539" doesn't roll off the tongue, it is a short search term. ::Agreed, there's Pegasus (episode) and Pegasus (ship) for both RDM and TOS. I can live with pretty much any of the names you suggest (Battle of the Eye , Battle of the Eye of Jupiter, Battle of the Algae Planet), but due to the "Battle of the"-prefix, confusion is much less likely to occur than with Pegasus. Also compare "Resurrection Ship", "Resurrection Ship, Part I", "Resurrection Ship, Part II", "Battle of the Resurrection Ship", not too much confusion there either | ::Agreed, there's Pegasus (episode) and Pegasus (ship) for both RDM and TOS.
