Following the [[Battle of Cimtar]], he becomes responsible for {{alt|The Fleet|TOS|Fleet}}-wide health concerns alongside his staff, including {{alt|Cassiopeia}}.

After entering a manufactured universe of {{alt|Iblis}}' design, an injured {{alt|Adama|TOS}} is remanded to Salik's care and is puzzled at Adama's high brain activity while being summarily unconscious ({{comics|vol3|1}}). He is further dubious at {{alt|Apollo|TOS}}'s claims of being able to assist his father via the use of mental powers, despite its later success in allowing Adama to recover ({{comics|vol3|4}}).
