Before starting on a chunk you may want to mark off in the transcript the block you plan on working. Then other people can check the transcript, and if somebody else is working on the "current" block they can mark off a subsequent block to work on. 10 minute blocks! That's amazing! In normal podcasts that's roughly an act (and 10 minutes of RDM podcast is MUCH easier than this one). I usually find myself doing about 3 minutes of a time for regular podcasts (roughly chopping acts into thirds or quarters). When the regular podcasts start back up you guys are going to think it's a joke... --Steelviper 07:43, 10 January 2007 (CST)

:Good idea, SV. Unfortunately, I'm going to be busy until mid-day Saturday (GMT), so if you guys want to mark off a couple of chunks, please do.
:I was also thinking, how about taking turns at the regular transcripts? I have a feeling that, after the first minute and twenty of the Roundtable, a regular podcast will be a walk in the park... -Madbrood 06:16, 11 January 2007 (CST)
::The nice thing about the regular transcripts is that there are discrete chunks which can be subdivided. So one approach might be everybody picking an act to work on and knocking that out. That way there's no edit conflicts either (since the acts are divided by separate headers). I wouldn't be opposed to having people do whole transcripts, but having done the ones that I have I know that I'd rather do an act or two a week rather than having to do a whole episode every third week (or however it'd work out). Thoughts? --Steelviper 07:05, 11 January 2007 (CST)
:::I like your idea about doing an act each. That way, the whole transcript should be ready relatively quickly. -Madbrood 14:50, 12 January 2007 (CST)
So I put in some contributions without looking at the talk page first (oops).  I do think it would be easier if it were broken into chunks shorter than an hour.  I tried to include notes on the start and stop time of each chunk (since unfortunately the parts I did are not contiguous).  Also, if anyone is particularly good at identifying voices:  "???" in my transcript is always a male voice with an English accent, since Tahmoh, Ron, and Terry are pretty easy to identify. -Iphthime, 2 March 2007
