Senior Admiral in the Colonial fleet, possibly the Chief of Naval Operations. Took personal command of the fleet following the destruction of [[Picon]] [[Fleet Headquarters]], placing his flag aboard the [[Battlestar]] <i>[[Atlantia]]</i>, which was subsequently destroyed with all hands.

If the Colonial military follows the US Navy model, technically, Nagala became Fleet Admiral on taking direct command, as did [[Adama. William|William Adama]] when he replaced Nagala following the loss of the ''Atlantia''.
