Hidden with a platoon of {{Alt|Command Centurion|TOS-DE}}s inside of a [[Cylon personnel carrier]] captured by [[Stadra Ah Mun]]'s resistance force, this IL executes its cunning plan and is able to take the major areas of the last surviving {{Alt|battlestar|TOS-DE}} ''{{Alt|Galactica|TOS-DE}}'' with releative ease.

Upon being escorted to [[core command]], he orders Col. {{Alt|Tigh|TOS-DE}} to have an officer ("your communication's [[daggit]]") open a communications link so that it may report its success. This leads to the appearance of a {{Alt|basestar|TOS-DE}} that unleashes phalanxes of {{Alt|Raider|TOS-DE}}s against {{Alt|the Fleet|TOS-DE}}, which are held at bay by ''Galactica''<nowiki/>'s {{Alt|Viper|TOS-DE}} squadrons.

Adama is soon captured and brought before this gloating IL-series, and puts it in its place by issuing a [[self-destruct]] command from his console. The IL-series orders the humans to be executed, but is thwarted by [[Freg]] as he storms core command, forcing the IL-series and its Centurions to the falsely-believed safety of their Trojan horse.
