A '''landram''' is a tracked vehicle used for ground operations {{OS|Saga of a Star World}}, typically shuttled to a planet via a [[Colonial shuttle|shuttle]] {{OS|The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part I}}. It is capable of holding crew and cargo, and is equipped with a top mounted turret weapon.

A landram was used for the initial scouting of [[Carillon]]. They were later used to evacuate civilians and warriors from the "pleasure resort" on the planet {{OS|Saga of a Star World}}.

Such crafts are typically conveyed to planetoid surfaces via [[Colonial shuttle|shuttles]].

== Variants ==

A landram painted in a desert camouflage pattern is deployed to the surface of {{TOS|Kobol}} at the Warrior's encampment prior to the [[Battle of Kobol (TOS)|Battle of Kobol]] {{OS|Lost Planet of the Gods, Part II}}.

A version of the landram modified for use in frigid climates is the [[snowram]] {{OS|The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part I}}.

== Power Sled ==

Another modified version, referred to as a power sled, this time without the cabin and open to the air and a storage bed, is used on [[Sectar (planet)|Sectar]]. It does not bear any obvious Colonial markings, likely due to the clandestine nature of their mission in the aftermath of the [[Battle for the Agricultural Ships (TOS)|Battle for the Agricultural Ships]].

It is stolen by [[Sire]] [[Bogan]]'s agents on the outskirts of [[Serenity]] to coerce the assistance of {{TOS|Starbuck}}, but later recovered {{OS|The Magnificent Warriors}}.

Landrams are deployed on {{alt|Carillon}} to scout for sources of {{alt|tylium}}, and later one of these is used by Lieutenant {{alt|Jolly|TOS}} to take out numerous {{alt|Centurion|TOS}}s during the {{alt|Battle of Carillon}} {{comics|marvel|3}}.

* The landram craft was a snowcat provided by [[w:Thiokol|Thiokol]], based on their "Imp" chassis with some modifications requested by production.
** While some references claim the use of the "Spryte" chassis, the Imp has been positively identified due to two distinct differences: the sprocketed drive wheel at the front of the chassis (Spryte has it in the rear) and the tracks being a width of only 2 feet vs. the Spryte's track width of 8 feet.
