Jolly leads the {{alt|Viper|TOS}}s against {{alt|Lucifer}}'s forces before the {{alt|Cylons|TOS}} signaled a cease fire, earlier ruminating that his friends were missing "all the fun" ({{comics|vol3|2}}). During this cease fire, he instructs the Warriors to analyze the Cylons for any weaknesses, not knowing when they may get a better chance ({{comics|vol3|3}}).

Later, in a dogfight with the [[Meclons]], Jolly finds himself saved by a Cylon Raider ({{comics|vol3|4}}).

Lieutenant Jolly is a Colonial Warrior aboard ''{{alt|Galactica|TOS}}''. During the inspection of food stuffs, he reports that [[pluton poisoning]] has affected the food taken by the Fleet {{comics|marvel|2}}.

Commander {{alt|Adama|TOS}} keeps Jolly and other Warriors&mdash;excluding Apollo, {{alt|Starbuck|TOS}}, and {{alt|Boomer|TOS}}&mdash;on reserve while commissioning volunteers to wear Warrior uniforms so as to provide the illusion of falling into the {{alt|Alliance}}'s trap. Once the aforementioned trio uncover the truth of {{alt|Carillon}}, Jolly and the other Warriors spring Adama's trap on the surface, dispatching the force of {{alt|Centurion|TOS}} laying in wait {{comics|marvel|3}}. 

Jolly becomes romantically involved with {{alt|Uri||Sire Uri}}'s accomplice, [[Medea]] ({{comics|marvel|22}}, {{comics|marvel|23}}).
