'''Issac Shanto''', along with his brother [[Ismel Shanto]], is a member of the terrorist organization calling themselves the [[Children of Erebus]] (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Ghosts 1]]'').

With his brother, he boards ''[[Orion (comic)|Orion]]'' after hearing about [[Arvin Tyler]] and [[Ronnie Dyson]]'s heist, in which Dyson proclaimed that the supplies were for their terrorist organization. Incensed at this, the Shanto brothers pull guns on Tyler, but are summarily disarmed by [[Peter Gilmour]] before [[Colonial Marines]] from the [[Ghost Squadron]] storm the ship.

After the [[Fall of the Twelve Colonies]], Shanto is brought before Captain [[Alexander Chen]] and is shot twice in the leg, before Ismel agrees to give Chen the information he desires regarding their terrorist organization (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Ghosts 2]]'').

Summarily locked up in ''Orion''<nowiki>'s</nowiki> brig, Shanto believes that they are all that remain of their revolution, until they are presented a proposal by [[Teresa Manning]], who claims that their salvation is at hand (''[[Battlestar Galactica: Ghosts 3]]'').
