After his freighter suffers engine failure and is left behind by the Fleet, Heffren and his crew are attacked by [[Cylon (TOS-LM)|Cylons]]. Shortly after this, the [[Imperious Leader (TOS-LM)|Imperious Leader]] activates the device in Heffren's brain. Under Cylon control, Heffren makes his way to the fuel room to sabotage the battlestar.
