The '''''H.M.S. Glutton O' Punishment'''''<ref>{{bsgwiki term}}</ref> is the name of the alleged expensive, insured model sailing ship<ref>In reality, there were three of these; two were auctioned off (one unbroken, the other broken). They were owned outright by production, and not rented as some erroneously contended.</ref> that [[William Adama]] is seen working on throughout the series. 

It first appears when [[Galen Tyrol]] appeals to Adama to overturn the tribunal's conviction of [[Socinus]], due to Tyrol's failure to keep it in his own pants {{TRS|Litmus}}. Following his recovery from having chest cracked open, the walnut-cracking Adama resumes work on the ship while [[Anastasia Dualla]] appeals to him the importance of bring [[The Fleet (TRS)|the Fleet]] together following [[Laura Roslin faction|the schism]] between himself and [[Laura Roslin]] {{TRS|Home, Part I}}. 

{{Callsign|Starbuck}} gifts Adama a statue of [[Aurora, Goddess of the Dawn]] to adorn the ship's prow {{TRS|Maelstrom}}, but he gifts it back to her dead ass {{TRS|Six of One}}. 

It has been mangled twice: once by [[William Adama|Adama]]'s hands o' cranky doom after [[Kara Thrace]]'s death {{TRS|Maelstrom}}, the second time by [[Saul Tigh|Tigh]]'s glutes o' grinding {{TRS|Sine Qua Non}}. It is unknown if he packed it away or left it aboard ''Galactica'' when it flew into the heart of the sun, the heart of the sun... <small>the heart of the sun, the heart of the sun...</small> {{TRS|Daybreak, Part II}}.
